Support That Makes a Difference...

Eldercare Services

When discussing elder care, there are many important – yet often difficult – conversations to be had. I will partner with you to come up with the best course of action for your loved one, whether that be remaining in their home, considering independent living, or options for assisted living.

The final stage of the care giving journey is also the most delicate. The many difficult challenges faced by families regarding the death of a loved one cover a broad range.  It is never too early to begin the discussion! The clarity provided by having discussed your loved one’s wishes regarding their death care plan can be a welcome relief during the transitional period.

As an end of life Doula I work as a midwife for the soul. I provide:

  • A compassionate caring presence for those involved in this sacred life transition.

  • Holistic care and support including aromatherapy and healing touch.

  • Help with honoring the traditions of the family with ritual and ceremony.

  • Assist you with the emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of this sacred transition and helping with planning a vigil and after death care.

End of Life Coaching

I coach clients on the journey of eldering and help examine their thoughts and wishes around a critical stage of life, that is, death and dying. It is by looking at this transformational time in life that we can bring our focus to live life fully in the present moment.

We can begin this journey at any time. Life is a gift, and we never know when our physical experience will come to an end, and through examining this part of life, we begin to gain clarity and an enhanced understanding of what is important to us.

If we take the time to consider our transformation from the physical realm to the spiritual, it can often help us to focus more clearly on our priorities. When looking at these, we begin to see what truly motivates us and what it is that brings us joy. What makes our life worth living?

Embrace Life’s Challenges

Life throws many surprises at us and while we cannot predict the outcome of any one situation, we can take control of how we respond to them. With my coaching sessions, we will consider the factors involved and all of the options available.

When my mother began to need full-time caregiving for physical and cognitive decline in October 2014, Tina began working with my mother straight away and continued until her death in February 2016. She has the utmost compassion, care, expertise, judgment, energy, conscientiousness integrity, and calm. I cannot speak highly enough of her. There is no better coach and End of Life Doula and she also is able to take an overview of the situation and help clarify the path ahead.
